{"id":237,"date":"2018-01-04T03:58:02","date_gmt":"2018-01-04T03:58:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/studies.gilbertofcorvallis.com\/?page_id=237"},"modified":"2023-08-31T22:57:27","modified_gmt":"2023-08-31T22:57:27","slug":"a-cure-for-cancer","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/studies.gilbertofcorvallis.com\/?page_id=237","title":{"rendered":"A Cure for Cancer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A man was advised by his doctor that he had cancer.\u00a0 Naturally he inquired if there was any cure.\u00a0 The doctor advised him that in fact there was medicine that would prevent him from dying of the cancer.\u00a0 He would never die from the cancer, however he would continue to deteriorate.\u00a0 \u201cWhat kind of a cure is that?\u201d retorted the man.\u00a0 \u201cI don\u2019t want it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Of course such a \u201ccure\u201d is ridiculous. But how is this different from people who imagine they can be saved from the penalty for sin while they keep on living in it?<\/p>\n<p><em>How shall we who died to sin still live in it?
